REHISThe Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) is primarily concerned with the health of Scotland's people.

REHIS acts as the awarding body for a number of qualifications in food safety, food and health, control of infection and occupational health and safety. Detailed information packs are available from the REHIS office.

Food Training Scotland has an excellent working relationship with REHIS. Their qualifications are the first choice by Scottish business and are recognised by enforcement authorities and customers. The qualifications have value within the UK and internationally.

In England, Wales and Northern Ireland :

  • REHIS Introductory courses are equivalent to Level 1 (Induction) Awards;
  • REHIS Elementary courses are equivalent to Level 2 (Foundation) Awards;
  • REHIS Intermediate courses are equivalent to Level 3 (Intermediate / Supervising) Awards; and
  • REHIS Advanced Courses are equivalent to Level 4 (Advanced) Awards.

REHIS International Courses
Most courses are available in an international format, which enables them to be provided outwith the United Kingdom.
